What is a sustainable business?
A sustainable business actively monitors, accounts for and corrects the environmental and social impact of its activities in addition to the pursuit of profit.
And it ensures this for all activities–in operations, in production and in consumption– for both itself and for its suppliers.
This checklist can help us locate our areas of improvement in both our business and our general work. If we find a breach, we must work to either fix it or phase it out.
When all categories are met we will have achieved a sustainable business.
