The Hive Initiative is launching a course to train, certify and support people who want to become Official Facilitators of the Mini Summits workshops. 

The Mini Summits are workshop files that allow groups to come together to quickly learn about and work on the topics of climate change, nature and biodiversity, and human wellbeing within their organisation. It also provides a framework that helps groups implement the ideas from the workshops. It's designed to get more people understanding and working together to make sustainability progress.

As organisations will often need slight tweaks to the base Mini Summits system in order to make it tailored to them, as well as need someone neutral to host the sessions, facilitators are needed who understand both their unique needs and the Mini Summits system itself. This is why the Hive Initiative is launching an official training program- to both gather and prepare facilitators, as well as provide a means for organisations to find them.

This course will give tools and training to those wishing to become recognised facilitators of the Hive Initiative's Mini Summits.

The Hive Initiative is excited to partner with the Climate Coaching Alliance to offer this forthcoming program for free for the first 30 registrants until December 31, 2025.

About the Course

The course consists of a series of self-guided video tutorials and supporting documents which will become available to registrants December 1, 2025. They will then have two months to complete the course and reflective exercises. After that they will attend four online practice sessions in February 2026 and upon completion will become the Hive Initiative’s first certified official Mini Summits Facilitators.
